The ‘I Am Character Robotics’ Program has competed in the (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) FIRST LEGO League since 2015. We currently have ten students registered for this coming season. FIRST LEGO League, challenges kids in over 80 countries to think like scientists and engineers.
As you can imagine, it takes a village to provide the training, equipment, and resources necessary for these children to compete at the state and national levels. For annual projects, teams will choose real-world problems to evaluate and solve. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values: celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.
We are asking YOU to partner with ‘I Am Character Robotics’ (IAC) to help our youth achieve their goals this season. We are in need of the following: competition registration fees, STEM robotics kits, IAC Robotics T-shirts, classroom supplies, travel expenses, and additional expenditures as they arise
