Julius Brown
Julius Brown serves as the Director of ‘I Am Character Youth’ Foundation, which is committed to making a difference in the community and the lives of young males. Coach Brown is a youth mentor and football coach in Henry County, Georgia. He has an opportunity to work with kids from all walks of life. He aids in assisting young boys with character building, personal responsibility, leadership as well as cultivating them into the young, respectable men there are destined to be.
Growing up in rural South Carolina with an absentee father, Coach Brown realized the importance and urgency of having a positive male role model in his life as well as his need to be a role model for others. As a former correctional officer, Coach Brown has seen firsthand what happens to these young men when they lack direction and structure. He has dedicated his life to ensuring that our young males get a solid foundation that is needed to be successful academically, physically and socially.
Coach Brown has also served our country as a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard, the U.S. Navy, and continue his career as a Veterans Affairs (VA) mortgage underwriter for the Department of Veteran Affairs.
